Myriam Jochheim

Executive Manager and project manager DACH

Myriam Jochheim is a trained hotel manager and discovered her passion for service and hospitality at the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Düsseldorf. Her path has already led her into the international hotel industry, including in Switzerland and the Maldives. She consolidates this experience with her degree in Business Management with a focus on tourism and hotel and event management. With a lot of heart and soul, Myriam devotes herself to the topic of gastronomy, which prompted her to do an apprenticeship as an IHK-certified sommelier. With her enthusiasm and her open and communicative nature, she actively supports us in the implementation of various projects and always has an open ear for our partners and customers. Outside the forwardservice office, she enthusiastically swings the cooking spoon, enjoys a glass of wine with good friends, and works out through beach volleyball by the lake.

Barbara Schöffel

Project manager DACH and BOOST trainer

Barbara Schöffel is based in Salzburg and is the ideal Austrian addition to our team. She studied French, philosophy, and psychology, worked for international companies, and was a product manager for management seminars in Vienna. Barbara is a real doer and loves to structure processes, organize tasks, and contribute her creativity – the perfect prerequisite for a business manager and working mum. Whether playing the clarinet or singing in a choir, making music is her constant companion in life. She has traveled to almost every corner of France and loves the “art de vivre” – the cuisine, the language, and the diversity of the country. Her two boys bring a lot of exercise into the family free time – for example, bringing the family together for hikes in the Salzburg mountains. And she’s always in a good mood!

Kirsten Henschel

Marketing Coordinator

Kirsten Henschel studied Media and Cultural Studies and German Studies. She discovered her passion for language at an early age. As a reporter at the radio station ‘Antenne Düsseldorf’, she lives out her talent for communication, research and journalism. Her career in marketing has taken her from an international factoring company to various start-ups – from fashion labels to tech start-ups. Kirsten loves to convey exciting content and create real added value.

She has a very good eye for detail, is creative and at the same time strong in implementation – the best prerequisites for being responsible for marketing coordination at forwardservice.

In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys converting a van into her own campervan. And she is already looking forward to her first trip with the finished campervan through Great Britain, whose culture and countries she fell in love with during her semester abroad in Wales. She always has her yoga mat with her, which she prefers to roll out in the open air to relax.

Vivien Reinert

Project manager DACH

Vivien’s professional journey began in the fascinating world of the international luxury hotel industry. And gained valuable experiences in dealing with people from all over the world. Vivien is a passionate advocate of hospitality, her heart beats for meeting people.

In order to deepen her skills and broaden her understanding of management, Vivien decided to study to become a state-certified operations manager, specialising in hotel, personnel and quality management, as well as business administration. Vivien’s natural communication skills, her warm nature and her organisational talent make her an excellent project manager. At forwardservice, she manages a variety of exciting projects with enthusiasm and expertise.

In her free time, Vivien maintains close relationships with her family and friends. Her absolute passion is photography. Whether travelling or at celebrations, Vivien’s camera is always by her side to capture life’s special moments and keep them for eternity.

Stefanie Balzer

Product manager

Stefanie Balzer studied psychology and specialised in behavioural change in her Master’s degree. She already has years of experience abroad thanks to her studies in the Netherlands. Not only did she gain many exciting impressions, she also discovered her love of languages. In addition to German and English, Stefanie also speaks French and is fluent in Dutch.

She realised early on that she wanted to work with a lot of customer contact and in a creative environment. This working environment led her to a training company and a beauty company during her studies. With a lot of creativity, attention to detail and a sense for innovations & trends, Stefanie has the perfect eye for constantly developing and improving our products as a product manager at forwardservice.

Stefanie loves reading and has a soft spot for true crime. She enjoys spending her free time with her dogs or playing games with friends. To relax, she travels to the Baltic Sea or to sunny, warm beaches.

Ann-Kathrin Kerksiek

Working student marketing and communication

Ann-Kathrin Kerksiek started studying law straight after graduating from high school in 2019. She quickly realised that she was more interested in communication, including in different languages.

In 2020, her path led her to Marburg and she is now on the verge of completing her degree in ‘Language and Communication’.

In addition to German and English, Ann-Kathrin also speaks fluent Spanish and French. On some days, we can also speak to her in Italian and Turkish, as she has mastered the basics. 😊

In addition to her love of communication and languages, she also enjoys music and art. Ann-Kathrin has played the flute professionally in an orchestra and a little piano since she was a child. She also enjoys creating her own works of art – everything from abstract shapes to self-designed shoes.

Merle Sottke

Working student learning and development

Merle Sottke graduated from high school in 2021 and decided to study business psychology. She has a keen interest in psychology and education in the field of personal development. While still at school, she enjoyed studying the topics of emotions and motivation in her early studies, which laid the initial foundation for her work on projects. During a semester abroad in Miami at the age of 15, she gained many unforgettable experiences and adventures. With her emphatic, natural and helpful nature, she fits perfectly into our team.

Merle loves cooking and baking – her favourite thing to do is conjure up delicious dinners for her friends and family. She also likes to exercise – in the gym or on a long walk with an exciting podcast in her ear.

His work in the design agency in particular awakened Niklas’ passion for marketing and design, so he decided to train as a marketing and communications specialist at forwardservice. With his enthusiasm and his open, determined nature, he actively supports us in the realisation of our projects.

In his free time, Niklas jogs along the beautiful banks of the Rhine or works out in the gym. He loves music, plays the drums himself and enjoys reading. Niklas is a curious person and prefers to combine his urge to explore with travelling the world.

In her free time, she keeps fit with hiking, Nordic walking, spinning, and skiing in winter.

Mia Isenberg

Dual student marketing and communication

Mia’s career took a surprising turn when she immersed herself in the catering industry and discovered her passion for service. Understanding the needs of guests and customising her service to suit them became her strength.

So after leaving school, Mia quickly decided against the preconceived plan of training, studying and the tax consultant exam and began a dual study programme in marketing and management. Today, in her third semester, Mia is more than happy to have embarked on this new path and to combine her enthusiasm for marketing and excellent service at forwardservice.

In her free time, Mia loves travelling. Whether it’s a short trip to Paris or a ten-day beach holiday – Mia is always up for it! Doing nothing for days on end is out of the question for her. Instead, she spends her time with friends – doing exciting activities or enjoying a cosy dinner. On Sundays, she likes to watch ‘Tatort’  in the background.
